New weather warning: Strong thunderstorms and hail expected in several Moroccan regions today

Details of the updated weather warning

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced, in recent data, the forecast of thunderstorms accompanied by hail and wind gusts this Friday in several regions of the Kingdom.

Regions under orange alert

In an updated warning bulletin classified at the “orange” alert level, the Directorate stated that these thunderstorms are expected, with rainfall amounts between 20 and 30 mm, accompanied by hail and wind gusts.

This weather phenomenon will affect several provinces and prefectures of the Kingdom, namely Ifrane, Khénifra, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, as well as other neighboring cities and regions covered by the weather alert.
