British company Predator continues gas exploration research in Guercif

The Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development has decided to extend the research period granted to the British company Predator for exploring the subsoil in the Guercif region by an additional eight months, extending the license until November 5, 2026.
According to available data, the primary focus during this phase is to determine whether the natural gas discovered in this region, located in the eastern part of the Kingdom, is commercially exploitable and economically viable.
It should be noted that the British company is currently awaiting the results of drilling operations and work related to testing the well known as MOU-6, as these results are considered decisive for evaluating future energy investment prospects in the region.
