The National Rally of Independents (RNI) announces its readiness to join the next government, with a final decision resting with its National Council

In light of the political arrangements for the coming period, the National Rally of Independents (RNI) has revealed its official position regarding the upcoming government formation, expressing its full readiness to participate in the next government, thereby allowing it to continue contributing effectively from a position of responsibility to the completion of ongoing projects and reforms.

Valuing achievements and meeting challenges

The party clarified, in a statement issued following a meeting of its political bureau, that this step aims to value the achievements made and build upon them, in addition to contributing actively to meeting the challenges of the next phase in a way that serves the supreme interests of the nation and responds to the aspirations of citizens, within the framework of the national and political responsibility entrusted to it.

Convening the National Council for institutional resolution

In this same context, and in accordance with the institutional approach adopted by the party in making its major and important decisions, the political bureau has decided to call the National Council of the party to meet on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in the capital, Rabat.

The political bureau will mandate the National Council to deliberate and take the final decision regarding the participation of the National Rally of Independents in the next government, in light of the results of the ongoing political consultations and the data of the current phase, in a manner that is fully consistent with the party’s choices and keeps, first and foremost, the supreme interest of the nation in mind.
