Samir Koudar, a member of the political bureau of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), announced that the preliminary data received by the party regarding the results of the legislative elections indicate that it is leading, pending the official and final announcement of the results by the Ministry of Interior.

These statements were made by Koudar in a brief address from the party’s central headquarters in Rabat on Wednesday night. He confirmed that the indicators available to the «PAM» as of that time reflect its lead in the elections, without providing detailed figures or revealing the number of seats the party expects to win in these elections.

Election process and national turnout

This party data coincides with the announcement by the Ministry of Interior that the final turnout for the House of Representatives elections reached 38.02 percent nationwide. The counting of votes began immediately after the polling stations closed at 7:00 PM the same day.
