Bank Al-Maghrib released, this Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the periodic bulletin regarding the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Moroccan Dirham. These data reflect market trends within the framework of official transactions supervised by the central bank.
List of major currency exchange rates against the Dirham
International currencies recorded variations in buy and sell levels, with the rates according to official data as follows:
The Euro recorded a purchase level of 10.1997 dirhams, while the selling price settled at 11.8537 dirhams. Regarding the US Dollar, the purchase price reached 8.8393 dirhams, against 10.2727 dirhams for sale.
As for other currencies, Bank Al-Maghrib set the price of the British Pound at 11.912 dirhams for purchase and 13.844 dirhams for sale, which is the same rate adopted for the Gibraltar Pound.
Arab and Asian currency indicators
At the level of Gulf currencies, the exchange rate of the Saudi Riyal reached 2.3533 dirhams for purchase and 2.7349 dirhams for sale, while the Kuwaiti Dinar reached 28.639 dirhams for purchase and 33.283 dirhams for sale. The UAE Dirham recorded 2.4066 dirhams for purchase against 2.7968 dirhams for sale.
For other Asian and European currencies, the price of the Swiss Franc was set at 10.812 dirhams for purchase and 12.566 dirhams for sale, while the price of 100 Japanese Yen reached 5.7086 dirhams for purchase and 6.6344 dirhams for sale.
It is noted that these prices remain in effect for official Bank Al-Maghrib transactions, and financial market participants are advised to monitor ongoing updates issued by the bank to ensure the accuracy of financial operations.
