National Security Denies Claims of Cyber Breach

Enhanced Protection of Moroccan Security Systems
In a firm move to end the controversy surrounding alleged breaches of the national information system, the pole of the General Directorate for National Security (DGSN) and the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST) issued a strong official statement categorically denying any compromise of its security databases. The security institution confirmed that all its systems are subject to advanced security standards and operate according to strict protection protocols that make intrusion impossible.
The Truth About the Circulated Data and Its Origin
The same source clarified that the personal data recently circulated on some platforms has no connection to the security information systems. The statement indicated that this is, in fact, outdated information sourced from elsewhere, specifically from databases of insurance companies and social security organizations, rather than from the security apparatus, which enjoys complete information autonomy.
Combating Disinformation and Fabricated Images
The statement warned of the dangerous trend of spreading fabricated images and forged documents promoted as official security documents. The institution emphasized that such content lacks any credibility, pointing to blatant errors, such as the use of military ranks and uniforms that do not exist within the Moroccan National Security apparatus, in addition to linguistic flaws and technical errors in visual identity that expose their deceptive nature.
Closed Systems Isolated from the Internet
To put an end to speculation, the National Security pole stressed that all information systems belonging to the security services are completely closed systems and are not connected to open networks (the Internet), making them safe from common cyberattacks. The security services affirmed that they will continue their efforts to debunk all false claims aimed at damaging the image of national institutions.
Legal Prosecution of Those Involved
As part of strengthening the rule of law, the statement confirmed that judicial investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office. These investigations aim to uncover the identity of those involved in fabricating and creating this misleading digital content, in preparation for bringing them to justice, as part of a firm response to all attempts to undermine the digital stability and public security of the country.
