As part of ongoing efforts by security services to combat organized crime and dismantle networks trafficking drugs and psychotropic substances, the Anti-Gang Brigade of the Rabat Judicial Police, in close coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), has arrested a police officer serving in the capital and his sister.

According to available information, the suspect, who performs his security duties in Rabat, was apprehended while in a light vehicle on the highway connecting Tangier and Rabat. This intervention followed precise intelligence provided by the DGST, which indicated the possible involvement of the officer and his sister in a network active in the possession, transport, and trafficking of illicit substances.
