The Algerian regime attacks the Moroccan-Mauritanian rapprochement and criticizes major development projects in the region

State of confusion and hysteria within Algerian decision-making circles
Unable to keep pace with the diplomatic and developmental momentum led by Morocco in its African depth, the Algerian regime has returned, through its former diplomatic mouthpieces, to vent its frustration, criticizing what it called the “Mauritanian ambiguity” and the regional connectivity efforts led by the Kingdom of Morocco towards West Africa and the Sahel region.
In this context, former Algerian ambassador Amar Belani made incoherent statements reflecting the anxiety and fear gripping the Algerian regime as its traditional influence wanes. He is attempting in vain to disrupt the framework agreements and the massive road and port projects linking Rabat to Nouakchott, which seek to establish the Dakhla-Guerguerat-Nouadhibou-Nouakchott axis as a solid commercial backbone.
Moroccan development projects trouble the Algerian regime
The mouthpieces of the Algerian regime are in disarray in the face of Morocco’s major infrastructure successes, most notably the upcoming Dakhla Atlantic Port and the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline project. These strategic projects aim to integrate Mauritania and the Sahel countries into a path of real development and prosperity, far from the hollow slogans and fictitious projects that Algeria has promoted for decades to no avail.
The Kingdom of Morocco’s tireless efforts to provide genuine economic and commercial outlets are shaking the foundations of the Algerian regime, which is accustomed to the politics of blackmail and crisis exploitation.
Failed attempts to smear the role of the UAE and Morocco
In a desperate attempt to divert attention from its failure to forge sustainable economic partnerships, the Algerian regime has leveled banal accusations against the United Arab Emirates. These baseless claims are nothing but soap bubbles launched by the Algerian regime to mask its diplomatic isolation, while the Kingdom of Morocco moves steadily toward cementing its position as an emerging and reliable regional power that believes in development and cooperation rather than obstruction and interference.
