Due to “Malicious Allegations”: Security Forces Prosecute Illegal Migration Candidate in Larache

The Judicial Police Brigade in Larache has launched a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution office, following the circulation of baseless statements and false accusations made by a woman who was attempting illegal migration. These statements were widely shared across social media and digital platforms.
Serious Allegations and Misleading the Public
The suspect provided misleading information and malicious accusations, claiming that official bodies facilitated the opening of borders for those wishing to migrate. She further alleged that these parties transported the migrants before abandoning them and preventing them from entering the occupied city of Ceuta.
Judicial Prosecution and Charges
Given the gravity of these claims, which constitute criminal acts punishable by law, security services successfully identified the woman and subjected her to a judicial investigation. It has been decided to present her before the Public Prosecution to face charges related to reporting fictitious crimes, spreading fake news, as well as defamation and insult.
Background and Facts of the Incident
Accurate data regarding the case indicates that the individual had voluntarily traveled to Fnideq with the intent of illegal migration. However, the firm field presence of public security forces prevented her from executing her plan and storming the occupied enclave. Faced with this failure, she resorted to inventing and promoting this false narrative without regard for its malicious and deceptive nature.
