Jordanian delegation shows interest in Moroccan suicide drone “irifi” at Marrakech exhibition

The Marrakech International Air Show witnessed notable interest from an official Jordanian delegation in the export version of the Moroccan suicide drone known as “irifi”, a move reflecting the strength of bilateral relations and historical ties that have united the Kingdom of Morocco and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for decades.
This growing interest occurred during the presentation given by Moroccan Amir Benmahjoub, who highlighted the advanced operational and technical capabilities of this stealth drone, explaining its superior performance in military operations and its ability to destroy enemy defenses with efficiency and high precision.
In the same context, the partnership between the Moroccan side and the manufacturer announced a strategic direction to allocate special export versions for sister and allied nations, opening new horizons for joint military cooperation and the exchange of defense technology expertise among Arab countries that share unified strategic visions.
Significance of military and technological cooperation between Rabat and Amman
This development comes at a time when Moroccan-Jordanian relations are witnessing remarkable progress in various fields, confirming the strength of the ties based on mutual respect and continuous support. Observers believe that the exchange of military expertise and technology between allied Arab countries represents a fundamental pillar for strengthening self-defense capabilities, in contrast to other regional trends that seek to destabilize the region by creating fronts and militias that fragment countries.
Military experts confirm that the entry of Moroccan defense industries into the export phase toward allied countries represents an important milestone, reflecting the maturity of the national industrial base and its ability to provide advanced technological solutions that meet the needs of the armies of sister and friendly countries in accordance with the highest international standards.
