Heavy rains isolate Igherm from Tismout and disrupt traffic on the Dou-Saoun road

Various areas within the provinces of Taroudant and Tata experienced intense and significant rainfall on Saturday evening, October 10, resulting in an exceptional situation on the local road network connecting the two regions.
According to available data, these flash floods and heavy rains caused a temporary disruption of traffic on the road connecting the commune of Igherm in the Taroudant province to the commune of Tismout in the Tata province, specifically at the Dou-Saoun site.
Faced with this emergency, which threatened the safety of road users, local authorities and members of the Royal Gendarmerie acted immediately. They arrived on the scene to manage traffic flow, direct drivers to alternative routes, and warn them until the situation returns to normal.
It should be noted that such heavy thunderstorms frequently cause temporary traffic disruptions on the mountain roads connecting the provinces of Taroudant and Tata, requiring constant vigilance from drivers and strict adherence to the instructions of security services, the Gendarmerie, and local authorities.
