Enhancing care services for addiction patients in Tétouan
In a move aimed at improving the quality of health and social services for vulnerable groups, the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council has allocated a significant financial grant of 741,000 dirhams to the Addiction Medicine Center located at the social hub in the city of Tétouan.
Details of the funding agreement extended until 2029
This financial package is part of a partnership and funding agreement running from 2027 to 2029. The agreement is renewable in accordance with the regulations in force between the parties involved, with the aim of ensuring the sustainability of the services provided within the institution.
Objectives of the financial support for the social hub
According to available data, this regional support aims to improve the quality of care services for people suffering from substance-use disorders, as well as to strengthen the center’s functional and therapeutic capabilities in the fields of medical and psychological treatment, rehabilitation, and social integration.
