Informed sources stated that running a routine check on the detainee against the database of the International Criminal Police Organization «Interpol» confirmed that he was internationally wanted. The search was based on a Red Notice issued at the request of the National Central Bureau in Paris, due to suspected involvement in a serious criminal case concerning attempted intentional murder.
