Map of Diplomatic Isolation: Only 29 countries worldwide still recognize the Polisario entity

Current diplomatic data indicate a significant decline in international support for the Polisario entity. Official estimates reveal that only 29 countries worldwide still recognize this fictitious entity. This decline is part of the ongoing dynamics in the international diplomatic arena, reflecting a shrinking circle of traditional allies compared to previous decades.

These 29 countries are geographically distributed across several continents, with Africa holding the largest share of these recognitions, followed by countries in the Americas and Asia, in addition to other isolated nations.

In Africa, there are 15 countries remaining on the list, including: Algeria, South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Angola, Tanzania, Libya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Rwanda, Namibia, Mauritania, and Lesotho.

In Asia, there are only 4 countries: Iran, North Korea, Vietnam, and Laos, which maintain their traditional positions toward the entity.

In the Americas, the number of countries recognizing it is 5, distributed between Latin America and the Caribbean: Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Uruguay.

Additionally, the list includes 4 other countries from various regions: Timor-Leste, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, and Mauritius.

According to political observers and analysts, this limited geographical distribution reflects the deep transformations in international relations and the growing trend toward supporting the stability and territorial integrity of states, which gradually weakens the diplomatic presence of the entity on the global stage.
