French national wanted internationally for attempted murder arrested at Mohammed V Airport
Officers of the National Security at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca successfully arrested a 23-year-old French national on the morning of Wednesday, October 7, who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by French judicial authorities.

Checking the suspect against the International Criminal Police Organization “Interpol” database revealed that he is wanted internationally under a Red Notice issued at the request of the Central National Bureau in Paris, for his suspected involvement in a case of attempted voluntary manslaughter.

According to preliminary investigative information, the individual is suspected of participating in an attempted voluntary manslaughter using a firearm, criminal acts committed during 2025 in Paris, France.
Legal procedures and extradition process
The suspect has been subjected to extradition procedures ordered by the competent public prosecutor’s office. The “Interpol Rabat” office, under the General Directorate of National Security, has been tasked with notifying its French counterpart of the arrest for the purposes of the extradition process.
