UAE records strong presence in defense and aerospace sectors at Marrakech Airshow 2026

Launch of official activities of the Emirati pavilion in Marrakech
The national pavilion of the United Arab Emirates opens its official participation this Wednesday in the new edition of the Marrakech Airshow 2026. This extensive participation is part of the event organized from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Air Force Base in Marrakech, with the presence of a large number of companies specializing in the defense, aviation, and space industries.
Official support and institutional organization to boost international presence
The Emirati pavilion is supported directly by the UAE Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment, while the ‘ADNEC’ group, part of the ‘Modon’ group, handles the organization. This prominent presence aims to highlight the advanced industrial and technological capabilities of the UAE, as well as to strengthen international partnership ties and open new and important horizons for exports to regional and global markets.
List of participating companies and institutions
The Emirati pavilion houses an influential group of leading national companies and institutions. The list includes the ‘EDGE’ group, ‘Generation 5 Holding’, the ‘Multi Level (MLG)’ group, and the company ‘Resource Industries’. The magazines ‘Al Jundi’ and ‘Nation Shield’ are also participating, with organizers allocating stands K1 and J3 to enable visitors and interested parties to view the latest products and technologies displayed throughout the exhibition days.
Showcasing the latest innovations in defense and air systems
The participating Emirati entities are showcasing a diverse package of advanced solutions and technologies, including defense systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, air defense systems, electronic warfare, and armored vehicles. They also highlight the latest technologies in advanced air mobility and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, reflecting the qualitative leap achieved by national industries in these vital sectors.
Building strategic partnerships towards African and European markets
Through their presence at this international forum, Emirati institutions seek to connect national companies with buyers, investors, and strategic partners from all over the world. The strategy focuses on strengthening presence in international markets, particularly in Africa and Europe, as well as providing promising opportunities for industrial cooperation and the exchange of field and technical expertise in the aviation and space sectors.
A global event under high royal patronage
It is worth noting that the Marrakech Airshow 2026 is held under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, forming a global hub that gathers the most prominent players in civil and military aviation and space. The exhibition program includes remarkable air shows, bilateral business meetings, and specialized conferences, with the participation of high-level civil and military delegations from around the world.
