Launch of the Autumn Session of the 47th Asilah Cultural Moussem with a Tribute Visit to the Tomb of the Late Mohamed Benaissa

On the sidelines of the preparations for the opening of the autumn session, the President of the Asilah Forum Foundation, Hatem El-Betioui, paid a respectful visit this Friday to the tomb of the late Mohamed Benaissa in Asilah. He was accompanied by Miguel Ángel Moratinos, former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, the journalist and academic Francis Kpatindé, former editor-in-chief of «Jeune Afrique», and the Vice President of the Foundation, Toufik Lezri.

Kick-off of the 47th Asilah Cultural Moussem

The Asilah Forum Foundation is preparing to inaugurate the autumn session of the 47th International Cultural Moussem this Friday, October 2nd. Under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, this cultural season will run until October 18th, featuring the participation of over 400 prominent figures from the worlds of intellect, culture, art, media, and diplomacy.

Major Symposia and Strategic Challenges

UN diplomat Miguel Ángel Moratinos is expected to participate in the first symposium of the 47th edition, titled: «Energy and Water Challenges in Africa and Strategic Projects: Towards a New Geopolitics». The official program includes a series of intellectual activities, specialized seminars, panel discussions, and art exhibitions, further cementing Asilah’s status as a cultural hub.
