Historic milestone for the electric truck corridor between Morocco and France

The electric truck corridor between Morocco and France has achieved a significant milestone in supporting the transition away from fossil fuels, as Europe seeks to accelerate the implementation of carbon emission reduction regulations for commercial vehicles.

According to available data, the first heavy-duty truck equipped with swappable batteries has been delivered to a client on this vital corridor connecting Africa and Europe, aimed at promoting sustainable transport.

The delivery supports the battery-swapping system unveiled by Chinese companies Gotion High-Tech and C&C Trucks during the international mobility exhibition in Hanover, Germany.

This system provides an integrated global solution that includes vehicles, solar energy, energy storage, charging, and battery swapping, offering a practical path to support the shift toward electric vehicles in the logistics sector.
