Mustapha Lakhsem sweeps legislative elections in Sefrou district and leads final results

The final results of the legislative elections in the Sefrou district have confirmed the victory of Mustapha Lakhsem, head of the Social Democratic Movement (MDS) list, in the elections held on September 23, 2026. He secured a total of 19,608 votes, placing him in the top position within the district.

Party and Candidate Rankings in Sefrou District

According to official data announced following the completion of the vote counting process, the second position went to Driss Chebchali, candidate for the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), who received 10,437 votes.

In third place is Youssef Mandour, candidate for the National Rally of Independents (RNI), who gathered 8,226 votes, thereby finalizing the ranking of the candidates based on the tallies received.

Analysis of Electoral Figures and Margins

These final results reflect the strong competition witnessed in the Sefrou district as various candidates and political parties sought to win the parliamentary seats allocated to this region.

The figures indicate that the leader, Mustapha Lakhsem, is ahead by a significant margin of 9,171 votes over the runner-up, while there is a gap of 2,211 votes between the second-placed Driss Chebchali and the third-placed Youssef Mandour.
