Legislative race in Morocco: PAM leads partial results, PJD and Istiqlal in pursuit

Provisional lead for the Authenticity and Modernity Party
Partial data provided on Wednesday evening shows the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) in the lead regarding parliamentary seats secured thus far, having captured 11 seats based on preliminary results from several constituencies across the Kingdom’s regions.
Strong competition between Istiqlal and the Justice and Development Party
According to the same data relayed by informed sources, both the Justice and Development Party (PJD) and the Istiqlal Party are following in these next spots during this interim phase, with each successfully securing seven parliamentary seats provisionally, pending the completion of vote counting and the compilation of records from polling stations.
Non-final tally and ranking subject to change
This electoral tally remains not final by any means, as a large number of seats are still being counted. Furthermore, the results circulating so far do not include all electoral districts, which makes the ranking of political parties subject to constant change as official results are announced.
Counting continues as the nation awaits official results
In the same context, vote counting and tallying operations are continuing across the Kingdom under normal conditions, while various political parties have begun compiling the results reported by their representatives in the field, in anticipation of the Ministry of Interior’s announcement of the official and final results that will accurately determine the full distribution of seats in the House of Representatives.
