King Mohammed VI writes to Jordanian Monarch following Iranian attacks

Firm Moroccan stance against Iranian provocations
In a gesture reflecting the depth of the brotherly relations between Rabat and Amman, King Mohammed VI sent a telegram of solidarity and condemnation on Wednesday to the monarch of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II, following the Iranian missile attacks that targeted Jordanian territory.
Royal condemnation of Iranian ‘hostility’
In his message, the King expressed his deep dismay over the heinous Iranian attacks, viewing them as a continuation of the hostile approach adopted by Iran, not only against Jordan but also towards the Arab Gulf states. The Moroccan monarch affirmed his categorical rejection of this unjustifiable criminal aggression, emphasizing that it aims to undermine the stability of Jordan and threaten the safety and security of its people.
Jordan’s security is integral to Morocco’s security
The royal message stressed that the Kingdom of Morocco provides unconditional support to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, backing all measures taken by the Jordanian authorities under the wise leadership of King Abdullah II to protect its territory. The telegram carried a clear political message that the security of Jordan is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Royal confidence in the resilience of the Jordanian people
King Mohammed VI concluded his telegram by expressing his full confidence in the ability of the Jordanian people to overcome these challenges. He praised the determination and fortitude that characterize the Jordanians, asserting that these aggressions will only serve to strengthen the cohesion of the Jordanian state under the wise leadership of its monarch.
