PAM Candidate Lists: New female faces to join the electoral race

The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) sets its electoral course by selecting 12 female list leaders
In a significant organizational step ahead of the upcoming legislative elections, the Authenticity and Modernity Party has announced the final list of regional female list leaders. This decision is the culmination of a long process of evaluation and scrutiny, during which the party’s leadership relied on objective criteria to ensure the selection of female talent capable of representing the party across the Kingdom’s various regions.
Selection Criteria: Competence and Field Presence
The party emphasized that the selection process was not left to chance but followed a standardized procedure based primarily on political experience, the ability to advocate within institutions, as well as the level of field presence and commitment to the party’s project and values. A specialized committee, including members of the collective leadership and heads of parallel organizations, oversaw the review of files and the interviewing of candidates before finalizing the results.
Names heading the PAM lists in the regions
This process resulted in the endorsement of 12 prominent names to lead the female lists at the regional level, as follows:
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region: Leila Bellagha
Béni Mellal-Khénifra Region: Sara Amhazoun
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma Region: Salma Ablahssain
Drâa-Tafilalet Region: Najat Yahya
Marrakech-Safi Region: Nadia Idrissi Slitine
Oriental Region: Hoda El Maghari El Mabrad
Casablanca-Settat Region: Malika Mezour
Fès-Meknès Region: Khadija Hjoubi
Souss-Massa Region: Sanae Zahid
Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra Region: Aziza Badad
Guelmim-Oued Noun Region: Manal Ariti
Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab Region: Zineb El Kouri
A Commitment to Women’s Political Participation
The party stated that this institutional trajectory embodies the spirit of equal opportunity and reflects the dynamic presence of women within its political body. The leadership also congratulated all the women who participated in this process, commending the high level of militant spirit they demonstrated during the selection phase. In a message to its base, the party called on the list leaders and all activists to engage in the electoral race with a collective and responsible spirit, emphasizing that the goal remains to champion citizens’ causes and to cement the position of women as essential and central partners in political decision-making in Morocco.
