Intensive preparations in Fnideq ahead of the Mawlid night celebration
The Grand Mosque of the city of Fnideq witnessed a high-level mobilization this Monday evening, coinciding with ongoing preparations to welcome His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, who is expected to grace the city with his presence next Tuesday to commemorate the night of the Mawlid Annabaoui Charif.

In this context, the Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Younes Tazi, accompanied by the Governor of the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture, Yassine Jari, arrived at the Grand Mosque square. This visit serves to personally oversee the final touches of the organizational and logistical arrangements the city is undertaking to host this important religious and historical event.
During their field tour, the officials conducted a detailed inspection of the mosque’s various facilities, including the prayer hall, ablution spaces, main entrances, and the surroundings of the mosque. The Wali and the Governor heard detailed explanations from the technical staff supervising the works to ensure the event proceeds under ideal conditions befitting such a great religious occasion.
It is noteworthy that the city of Fnideq is in a state of full mobilization, with all human and technical resources being deployed to ensure the success of the arrangements for the auspicious royal visit, amidst an atmosphere of joy that fills the city’s residents in anticipation of His Majesty the King’s arrival.
