Tragedy in M’rirt: One woman dead and 23 agricultural workers injured in serious accident

Road tragedy shakes Khénifra province

A routine work commute for a group of agricultural workers turned into a nightmare following a deadly traffic accident last Friday on the Adarouch road, in the Tchebchaqt area near M’rirt.

A utility vehicle carrying 24 passengers to a nearby farm overturned, resulting in the immediate death of one woman from her severe injuries, leaving others in a state of shock.

Heavy toll and security mobilization

According to exclusive data, the incident left 23 people with varying degrees of injury; 6 critically injured individuals required urgent medical intervention and transfer to the provincial hospital in Khénifra, while 17 others received first aid.

Upon being notified of the tragic event, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and local authorities rushed to the scene to secure the perimeter, manage traffic, and supervise the evacuation of victims via ambulances.

This tragic accident has sparked a wave of sorrow, as the victims were breadwinners seeking an honest living.
