28-year-old man arrested in Nador for luring and sexually assaulting a minor on the beach

Police officers of the Regional Security in Nador arrested a 28-year-old man on Wednesday, August 12, suspected of involvement in a case of luring and sexually assaulting a minor.
According to preliminary information, the suspect, who works as a parasol renter on the beach, exploited the social and psychological vulnerability of the girl. The victim had already been reported missing by her family after running away from home multiple times before being targeted by the suspect.
Intensive investigations by security services led to the rapid identification and arrest of the perpetrator. He is currently in custody, pending a judicial investigation overseen by the competent public prosecutor, to uncover all the circumstances surrounding this criminal act.
The victim has undergone a medical examination to determine the extent of the assault, ahead of legal proceedings and her return to her family. Notably, this case gained significant attention on social media after a video was shared containing inaccurate information, including claims that the minor was a victim of an illegal immigration ring—claims that have been officially refuted by security authorities.
