Secrets of the Spain Camp: How does Hussein Ammouta plan to lead Al-Ahly using technology?

A sophisticated technological approach to Al-Ahly’s training

National coach Hussein Ammouta, head coach of the Egyptian club Al-Ahly, continues to finalize his team’s preparations during the training camp currently being held in Spain. Reflecting the professionalism of the Moroccan technical staff, Ammouta is committed to adopting digital analysis tools as a fundamental pillar to evaluate player performance and develop the system of play before the start of the new football season.

The pivotal role of performance analysis in the Spanish camp

As part of this strategy, Ammouta receives detailed daily reports prepared by his compatriot and performance analyst within his staff, Khalil Aghchami. These reports go beyond technical impressions, diving into the minute physical and technical details of each individual player. Great focus is placed on vital performance indicators, such as pass completion rates, effectiveness in duels, and players’ understanding of tactical movements without the ball.

Physical development and injury prevention

The technical staff, led by Ammouta, does not overlook the physical aspect, which is a top priority at this stage. Close coordination is maintained with the physical trainer to monitor each player’s vital signs, aiming to ensure a gradual increase in physical readiness while taking all preventive measures to avoid fatigue or muscular injuries that could hinder the team’s progress at the start of the season.

Decisive decisions based on digital data

The Moroccan coach relies on this precise digital data to formulate his technical vision and identify the players most prepared for the starting lineup. Integrating technology into the training sessions during the Spain camp gives Ammouta a clear and objective picture of the players’ adherence to tactical instructions, helping him make accurate and informed decisions that enhance the team’s strength and competitiveness in upcoming challenges.

With this modern approach, Al-Ahly’s technical staff aims to invest in every day of the current preparation period to ensure the team enters local and continental competitions in peak physical and technical condition, armed with the language of numbers that has become an indispensable cornerstone of modern football.
