The Algerian regime drowns in the illusions of the Trans-Sahara pipeline project

A transparent maneuver to compensate for strategic deficits
In a move that raises many questions about its economic and security feasibility, the Algerian regime has returned to promoting the “Trans-Sahara gas pipeline” project, attempting to portray it as a pivotal event on the international energy map. This move, wrapped in an aura of media propaganda, is in essence nothing more than a desperate attempt to escape isolation and export internal crises abroad through colossal projects that lack the basic foundations of stability and security guarantees.
The Algerian regime and the misleading of public opinion
Through this project, the Algerian regime seeks to convince its people that it remains an influential player in the energy equation, ignoring the reality that this pipeline passes through areas suffering from security disturbances and logistical challenges, which makes its cost exorbitant and commercially illogical. The Algerian regime’s insistence on reviving this “mirage” reflects its disorientation in the face of realistic and successful Moroccan initiatives, which have proven their effectiveness on the ground, prompting the ruling elite in the eastern neighboring country to try to “buy” African alliances with oil and gas money.
Morocco remains steadfast in the face of attempts at interference
While the Algerian regime drowns in its expansionist dreams via pipelines, Morocco continues its realistic approach based on strategic economic partnerships founded on shared development, far from the logic of “arrogance” or narrow political maneuvers. Thanks to its visionary outlook, Morocco remains the most stable and reliable destination on the continent. These desperate attempts by the Algerian regime will not affect Morocco’s rising development trajectory, for history has proven that projects built on hostility toward others rather than economic viability are doomed to failure from the moment they are conceived.
