Several neighborhoods in the city of Tangier have witnessed a massive increase in mosquitoes, known locally as «Chnayoula», in recent days. This has sparked widespread discontent among local residents due to the repeated bites, especially during the night.

Complaints of skin swelling in various areas

In this context, citizens residing in different parts of the city, including the Castilla and Al-Branes Al-Qadima neighborhoods, have complained about bites they describe as unusually severe. Those affected confirmed that these bites cause skin swelling and inflammation accompanied by persistent itching that disrupts their rest.
