Man in his fifties dies following a stray dog attack in Aït Zineb municipality, Ouarzazate province

The municipality of Aït Zineb in the Ouarzazate province witnessed a tragic incident on Wednesday morning, leaving the local community in deep mourning. A man in his fifties lost his life after suffering a sudden attack by a group of stray dogs in the area between the villages of Aït Ben Haddou and Asfalou.
According to preliminary information, the ferocious attack left the victim with severe and fatal injuries across his body, resulting in his death at the scene and prompting an emergency mobilization of local authorities.
Upon receiving notification of the tragedy, local authorities, accompanied by the Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Protection, arrived at the scene to carry out necessary legal procedures. The victim’s body was subsequently transferred to the morgue.
The painful incident has sparked widespread sorrow and frustration among the local population, and has brought renewed attention to the growing concerns regarding the prevalence of stray dogs, particularly in rural areas and along roads connecting villages.
