Ireland officially exempts Moroccan citizens from visa application fees as part of a list of sixteen countries

Official visa fee exemption for Moroccans in Ireland

The Irish authorities have officially announced that citizens of 16 countries, including Morocco, are exempt from paying visa application fees for entry into their territory. The relevant authorities emphasized that this financial exemption does not, under any circumstances, waive the requirement to obtain the visa itself through the established legal procedures.

List of exempt countries and details of current fees

In addition to Morocco, the list covered by the Irish decision includes Tunisia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Peru, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Zambia.

In this context, official data clarifies that standard visa fees for Ireland are set at 60 euros for a single-entry visa and 100 euros for a multiple-entry visa, while transit visa fees are 25 euros. These amounts cover exclusively the administrative processing costs and are non-refundable in the event that the application is rejected or withdrawn by the applicant.
