Spanish Judiciary reveals statistics on sexual offenses in Ceuta

Official data released by the inspection service of the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary has revealed that courts in the city of Ceuta have opened 37 judicial proceedings related to sexual assault cases.

The data clarifies that these files involve thirty-nine victims, consisting of thirty-three women, one adult man, and fourteen female minors.

The statistics highlight that there are thirty-seven suspects across all recorded files, all of whom are adult men, as the competent authorities continue to monitor the progress of these cases.

The report notes that the identities of eighteen suspects had not been determined at the time of the report’s preparation, while nineteen others have been officially identified.
