As part of the major national projects launched by Morocco to modernize sports infrastructure in preparation for hosting the 2030 World Cup, the official awarding of a new contract for the development of Agadir’s Adrar Stadium—one of the Kingdom’s most prominent stadiums—has been announced.
Details of the massive contract
The contract for the roofing and facade works was awarded to the Moroccan company «Inter Tridim», with the project valued at approximately 995 million 640 thousand 552 dirhams. This investment reflects the Kingdom’s strong commitment to equipping its sports facilities with the latest international standards used in world-class stadiums.
Comprehensive facility upgrade
These works are part of a broader plan to increase capacity and improve services and infrastructure. The upgrade includes a complete overhaul of the exterior facade and the installation of a modern roof, ensuring fan comfort and meeting FIFA requirements. Morocco aims to boost its chances of hosting an exceptional and historic edition of the global football tournament.
