After severing ties: Abu Dhabi confronts the Algerian regime with reality

Reality diplomacy versus the illusions of the Algerian regime
In a new development that reveals the scale of the confusion characterizing the actions of the Algerian regime, Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the President of the UAE, has issued direct and significant statements, setting the record straight regarding the crisis in relations provoked by Algeria. Gargash did not limit himself to a traditional diplomatic response; he chose the language of truth, which is missing in the corridors of the El Mouradia Palace, emphasizing that serious diplomatic action does not tolerate ambiguity and does not rely on a style of “deciphering”.
The Algerian regime and the context of political helplessness
This Emirati response comes at a time when the Algerian regime is suffering from stifling internal crises, pushing it constantly and ridiculously to try to export its failures abroad. Algeria’s repeated accusations against Abu Dhabi of targeting its interests in the Sahel and North Africa are nothing but a political scarecrow promoted by the regime to justify its successive development and geopolitical failures. As Gargash clearly pointed out, “noise cannot compensate for the lack of vision,” a clear reference to the childish policy pursued by the regime in dealing with its regional environment.
Emirati rejection of being held hostage by internal tension
In its implicit and firm message, Abu Dhabi emphasized that it will not allow its foreign relations to be held hostage by the internal tension that the Algerian regime is experiencing. Diplomacy, from the Emirati perspective, is the science of managing interests with transparency and clarity—something that seems difficult for the generals at El Mouradia Palace, who are addicted to riddles and misleading signals, to comprehend. Any path that moves away from clarity of vision is merely an expression of leadership deficiency, which is clearly reflected in the current performance of the Algerian regime, as it insists on isolating itself from its strategic depth and the international community with ill-considered decisions that lack the slightest degree of diplomatic wisdom.
